MEET THE TEAM
Jess completed her Bachelor of Occupational Therapy at Western Sydney University and has since built her career across private practice and primary school settings.
At PHYZFIT, Jess is not face to face with clients. She leads the clinical oversight and supervision of our allied health assistants, guiding the team that delivers hands on therapy to the children and families we support. Every therapy plan running through our AHA team is shaped, reviewed and clinically backed by Jess.
Her clinical expertise sits in paediatric occupational therapy, with a strong focus on fine motor skills, coordination, sensory processing and emotional regulation. She designs practical, goal driven programs built around what each child needs to participate more fully in the everyday moments of home, school and play.
What sets Jess apart is the creativity she brings to program design. Sessions delivered under her supervision are built to feel fun rather than clinical, and every plan is tailored to the individual strengths and challenges of the child in front of the therapist.
Jess is a strong believer in family centred care. Programs are designed to work with each family's real life, and parent education and coaching is always part of the plan, delivered in a way that fits alongside home and school routines.
Before joining PHYZFIT, Jess designed and delivered a whole of school emotional regulation program at a local primary school. That work included pre and post screening of students, leading classroom lessons, creating custom therapy resources, and training teachers and learning support staff so that therapeutic strategies became part of everyday classroom routines. It is that mix of clinical skill and practical program design she now brings to the allied health assistant team at PHYZFIT.
