  • No, a referral is not required. Physiotherapists are primary health care providers, meaning we are able to assess, diagnose and manage your condition accordingly.

    However, if you require physiotherapy services under worker’s compensation (WC), compulsory third party (CTP) or Enhanced Primary Care Plan (EPC), you will require a referral from your GP.

  • Physiotherapy will help you if you are experiencing pain, have limited mobility, recovery from an injury or have recently had surgery and require post-op rehabilitation.

  • Yes! We accept all private health funds and provide on the spot health fund rebates through our HICAPS terminal.

  • In your initial consultation, your physiotherapist will take a detailed recount of your condition, injury or issue and perform a thorough assessment in order to reach a diagnosis.

    The physiotherapist will then provide a treatment tailored to your specific needs and ensure you are well educated regarding the nature of the issue.

    We will then formulate a specialised rehabilitation program in order to accelerate your recovery and optimise your well-being.

  • Yes! Our physiotherapists are registered Medicare providers so we accept Medicare Enhanced Primary Care plans (EPCs), also known as a GP Management Plan (GPMP).

    Speak to your GP to find our if you are eligible for a medicare plan.

    Please note, we charge a gap on medicare plan sessions.

  • Medicare will not cover physiotherapy unless you have a GP Management Plan (GPMP) or Enhanced Primary Care plan (EPC) issued by your GP.

    You will need to speak with your GP if you are eligible for this plan.

    If you have a GPMP, please inform us know when you are making your booking. This will entitle you to up to five physiotherapy sessions per calendar year.

  • The initial consultation is 45 minutes. We advise to arrive 10 minutes prior to your appointment.

    Please complete your initial client information in the link provided via SMS prior to your appointment.

    We allocate 45 minutes to the initial consultation so the physiotherapist can conduct a thorough assessment of your injury or condition, provide an individualised treatment and develop a rehabilitation program for your needs.

  • This will depend on the outcome of the initial consultation. Your physiotherapist will discuss the expected recovery time for your injury or condition and discuss how frequent treatment occur.

  • Yes, our physiotherapists are registered providers for Workers Compensation (WC) and Compulsory Third Party (CTP) claims and are accredited by the State Insurance Regulatory Authorities (SIRA).

    Your physiotherapy fees will be covered under insurance.

    You must first visit your GP to receive a referral and organise with your employer / insurance to obtain a claim number.

    You must bring the following with you to your initial consultation:

    • Work Cover Certificate (issued by GP) - WC claims only

    • GP referral for physiotherapy

    • Any relevant scans, GP or specialist reports

    • Date of your injury

    • Claim number and acceptance of liability letter

    • Insurance company details including your case manager’s contact details

    • Employer details

  • f your injured area involves the lower limb, please wear shorts or bring them along with you to change into.

    We do have shorts and gowns available for you to use.

  • There is readily available street parking available on Shaw Street.

    There is also a council car park located in the lane way next to our clinic.

  • Yes, we do see clients under My Aged Care who have their packages managed by a provider.

    We will be in contact with your package provider (coordinator) to make it easier and take the stress off you!

  • Our Physiotherapists are highly experienced in working with self-managed and plan-managed NDIS clients.

    We are not currently NDIS registered and are therefore unable to take on NDIA (agency) managed clients.

    We will then work with you or your child to have a united team orientated approach to help address these needs.

    We will also give you goal-orientated strategies to work on with your child to help to accelerate their learning and optimise their well-being.

  • Speech therapists work with elderly to improve their voice, communication and swallowing abilities.

    Swallowing therapy helps to reduce the risk of aspiration (“water going down the wrong pipe”)
